"Rare Victorian Edwardian J W Spears Punch & Judy Stand-up Puppet Theater Stage Booth with 13 Carved Wood Puppets. The wooden and lithographed theater booth was made in Bavaria Germany, circa 1913, and measures 65" tall x 29-1/2" wide. The front face features printed illustration, to represent a pair of musical busking gentlemen, dressed in period costumes. One is playing the drum, cymbals and woodwind instrument; and the other is playing barrel organ with Marmoset monkey animal that is dressed in military style with sword. This character also has a toothy grin and carries the collection plate for money donations. The top of the theatre facade illustrates Punch and Judy figures. The sides of the theater are covered in a printed fabric. Top marquee is partially restored. It obviously has playwear as well as a stain on the bottom as shown in the pictures. Also comes complete with the red muslin curtains and valance. The 13 puppets measures between 15-20" tall and have hand painted wood carved heads, wooden hands and feet, with fabric bodies. The hand and fingers insert into the head and lower limbs to allow operation."

The Paper Architect trailer from Davy and Kristin McGuire on Vimeo.

The Paper Architect is a play combining paper-craft, animation, projection mapping and performance. It tells the story of an old model-maker who uses his paper creations as vessels for his imagination. The show features tiny, accurately mapped animations playing across intricate paper sets: sunrises and sunsets come and go; flocks of birds pass by; leaves flutter from a tree... When the actor places a cut-out dancing woman on a detailed paper model, she comes alive; he adds a paper man and watches their romance unfold. The projected would-be lovers’ story is presented with a gentle humour; the life character, meanwhile, veers from rapt, childlike delight in his created world to a weary melancholy as the rigours of real life impinge. more info: http://www.theicebook.com/The_Icebook.html
INSIDE a VENTRILOQUIST HEAD
GUIDO VAN DETH PUPPET THEATRE COLLECTION In 1946, a puppet theatre was opened on the first floor of a private home in Nassau Dillenburgstraat in The Hague. Many beautiful puppet shows were played in this small theatre for more than 50 years. The magic of the show, bringing the puppets to life, fascinated children and adults time after time, for generations. more info: www.museon.nl

RED WAGON COLLECTIVE: DONATIONS NEEDED:
fabric, wool, embroidery floss, needles, crochet hooks, old sweaters

RED WAGON COLLECTIVE was formed in 2006 in response to our desire to deepen our artistic, collaborative, and community-engaged practices through residency projects that would enable us to develop both intensive and extensive relationships in the Junction - a rapidly changing neighbourhood in Toronto's west end. We share a desire to work collaboratively with artists and non-artists to create work that inspires new conversations; softens boundaries between groups separated by age, culture, ability, and economic status; promotes the presence of art in everyday life and contributes to increasing public engagement in community development. The work we create with communities is used in producing exhibitions, public installations, and celebratory performance events. We are currently working within the walls of the Evangeline Shelter.

Image Foundry specializes in edition printing, custom art reproduction projects, and high-end photo-retouching work.
